Well, the long-planned reorganisation of the house has actually begun.
During my week off I finally got around to putting up the new shelves and unpacking most of my role-playing books onto them; shifting Jack's futon out; moving my single bed into his room; emptying, moving and refilling a bookcase (full of all the books that I really am going to read real soon now!) and putting the double bed that's been in pieces on the stairs since before Christmas into my room.
Now all I have to do is: unpack the rest of the RPG books onto the shelves; put up shelves in the lounge for all the DVDs and videos that are cluttering up the place; empty and take apart the big shelving units in the lounge; put up the new futon as a sofa in the lounge; assemble a wardrobe in Jack's room and another set of shelves in Paul's room and make a start on selling the many boxes of stuff I have around the house that need to go up on eBay.
So much for getting that lot done in a week's holiday off work...
