Father's Day is a day full of mixed feelings for me. I love celebrating my dad, but at the same time i'm sad only being able to be a father for such a short time. Today also sealed my total dislike for my mom and sisters too. My dad told me happy fathers day this morning and my mom said," why say that, it's not like he was a father long enough to count." which really pissed me off and last year my sisters said the same exact thing. My dad is the only person in my family who fully grasps my situation. No one else would even give a second thought to the things i've seen, but he sticks right by my side through it all. So as a thanks to him I went out before he woke up today and got him a caramel macchiato. He is a huge Starbucks addict so it really made him smile. I just hope the rest of the day goes by quick and if my mom or sisters say anything about my today there's about a 90% chance I will snap. Through all the years i've played nice and kept my mouth shut, but this year im not.
