Haven't posted an update in quite a while... My job moved me from Seattle to the Oregon Coast. As such, I've finally settled into life in Lincoln City. It's pretty nice here. Its no Seattle of course, but it is relatively close to Salem and Portland from the Coast. The wife and I have called it quits. We've not been doing well ever since I started working at sea. Actually, we've had problems long before that; and a different, uncontrollable set of issues came into play once I started working at sea. In any case, I guess I'm past all that but we still have to get the actual divorce dealt with after the New Year. She's still in SoCal. She never moved out of California so even when I wasn't on the ship, I still never got to see her. That was also part of our problem... Anyhow, enough lamenting. Life goes on. Oregon has been pretty good to me so far. Hope things continue to improve. Peace!!
