Holy Hannah.
Went to the Wine Country Mopars show today.
Tons of cool Mopars, drag racing, swap meet.
Some radical-ass cars. Got my fire lit to get back to work on Consuela. I'll post some of the pix I took, unfortunately my NiCad battery is dying, so I only got about half of what I should have shot, and didn't get a close-up of the...

Trying to sign up for a welding class.
Fire! Fire! Fire!
But, I will then be able to weld my own subframe connectors into Consuela.
Yay!
And do who knows what else...

Dude!! I was looking into a welding class myself.
Good luck, and have fun!
kay:
I actually took a class here last year. I ended up dropping out of it because I just could not get the knack of it, not to mention trying to do it blind because our helmets are so freaking old.
Have fun with it!

Neapolitan Ice-cream day:
Cars
then
Painting
then
Club/drinking.
All layered.
Unfortunately the old International pick-up I got cheep turns out to need all brakes, all the way around. I'm outta project space, so she's going toodle-oo, and soon. One $400 gamble down the drain. Too bad, she's got her own steel box-sided style, and deserves better.
But, that's what I get for being emotionally guided...

I am breathless with anticipation.
That sucks about the International, but it just shows you that you are only supposed to have Mopars!

Definitely got laid, and then some.
Too bad about the International. They do rock though. If you are looking to get rid of her, I do not know that he is interested but kalischild might be.

Good to hear from you!
Damn you always seem to find such cool vehicles. I am envious.
Yes, I have skillz...when my runs were 6.864, 6.860, 6.863, that would be some shifting skillz on my part.
The 6.81 I was more aggressive, because I knew I was in trouble.

Phew!
Just back from ComiCon in San Diego. I'll have a full report (or bits in successive journals, most likely) about this and that, but after I've gotten a little sleep. Drinking at the Hyatt until 3AM, don't ya know. 9AM flight...
Many, many attractive women in SD. I'd forgotten that. Oh, and the convention was great, too...

We're pretty good friends right now I don't really want to mess things up but it's driving me crazy and yes, she's the only person he's ever slept with.
Well, double-Shit.
I'll be in San Diego for ComiCon when the SG Burlesque show is playing (two nights!) at the Great American...

I think it was an '83 Caprice. It had major transmission problems.

How are the projects going?
Two things I've realized about myself:
1) I get the most work done between 4PM and 2AM
2) I'm the most creative between 10PM and 2AM...
Edited to add: came across a cute, super-tall girl at a club Saturday PM. Wearing regular air-sole Docs, she was at LEAST an inch taller than me. I'm 6'3". Do the math.
I am entranced.

Well, I WAS being moody, but now I'm OK. Amazing what a little attention from the opposite sex will do for you.
My knucklehead brother-in-law has me thinking about a blower for the 440. I'd love the look cruising 19th avenue, for sure. Of course, I'd shatter the driveline quickly, so a differential upgrade would be in order. I've learned from MissKaboom the desirability of...

misskaboom:
Glad my story of pain and suffering made at least one person wise to scatter shields.
When we were building my 440 we were toying with the idea of a blower, but decided against it. I don't remember why exactly.
Do you have an iPod? I would like to get one, but I seem to spend my money before I can save up to get one.

Hey guys!
Still alive. Been busy, traveling and then entertaining. Kinda done with people staying at my place. Ready to be alone, please!
Glad the roommate is gone all week.
Just saw the Reverend at Bottom of the Hill.
Great show! Was real close, but there were some moshers (there's still moshers?) there on the front part of the floor (moshing at a Reverend show?)....

I wish I could stop by, unfortunately it is only long enough to catch my flight to Phoenix. You can send stuff to my address in Yuma though, if you like.
K. Sanders
340 W. 32nd St. #344
Yuma, Az 85364
That is a consistent address for me by the way, just for future reference.
I'm off the Ice middle of October. Not too much longer, thankfully. I'm getting the short timer syndrome badly.
