Panic on the streets of London,
Panic on the streets of Birmingham
Yet another day of strikes at UCSC. This is the third time it's happened in two and a half years. Fuck the Regents, I don't care if they pay people well or not, but they're shitty managers who aren't doing their jobs and need to re-evaluate their labor/management relations philosophy.
Seriously, who pays $200,000 / year per manager to a team that consistently fails in the private sector? The stock market would punish that company severely. But in the world of public service, so long as the freshman girls aren't getting raped everything is a-ok. Bleh.
