Oh huzzah our troops are saved!
Armenia has announced they will send troops to Iraq. I guess it's a better Christmas present than a visit by Rumsfeld.
Downtown was crazy today. I didn't expect so many people to be out shopping so late. And I kept getting distracted by all the pretty girls (where are they when I'm on campus?), but eventually I managed to get a roll of wrapping paper for less than the $8 the Mission Office Products was asking. So I'll be able to wrap my mom's gifts in something besides newspaper.
Okay, so I failed a class last quarter. And I'm such a bad student that I was already on Academic Probation. They made me sign a contract last quarter (lol it's like high school all over again) that I would take a full load each quarter and pass all my courses until I graduated.
Now I'm kinda worried that they're gonna kick me out, for real this time. But the class I failed has nothing to do with my major, and I only took it so that I would have more than 11 units since there were only two courses being offered that would help me advance to graduation.
The whole thing is dumb. The administration is misguided and inept, I'm a fucking idiot who can't even force himself to regularly attend a hippy love-in, and the idea that a single course unrelated to my major would be the tipping point in my academic 'career' is just laughable.
Also, I watched a group of homeless/gutterpunks trying to revive a friend of theirs who was ODing across from the rescue mission down by Perg today.
A lady was already on the phone with EMS, so there was nothing constructive for me to do since the first aid merit badge I earned in Boy Scouts didn't address overuse of CNS depressants.
