so i made it back from the land of the rising sun. it was the most amazing place i have been yet.i did a whirlwind tour of tokyo, tokyo tower, shinto shrine, buddist shrine, impirial gardens, shopping districts, sumo wrestlers walking down the street etc....
but the one thing that stands out the most was when i was leaving the gardens of the shinto shrines and i saw a japanese man holding his hand out and making a birdcall, i was startled when this tinyy bird swoops down , lands on his fingers and plucks a peanut from his hand.i managed to get a picture of this. he then turns to me and offers the peanuts to me and motions that he would take a photo of me feeding the bird. 1st time i have ever done anything like that, i hope the pic he took comes out( not digital). so there you go, my trip to japan. i highly recommend that everyone goes at least once in their lives.
