A couple of weeks ago I was serving 2 guests who decided to eat at the restaurant that I work at. As a server we are required to suggest alchoholic drinks to all of our customers, so I did just that. The woman's answer wasn't "no thank you," or "just a coke please." This woman actually said, very rudely, "umm... we're christians."
Am I mistaken or was Jesus known to water into wine, use wine as imagery for his blood, and I really don't remember anywhere in the bible there being a commandment saying "thou shalt not have a strawberry daquiri with dinner."
I do consider myself a christian, and I really hate having to put up people with supposedly the same beliefs as myself who act as if they are better people than me just because they do not drink.
I have gotten a bit cynical today, but every once in a while you just have to vent.

And, really... it didn't hurt that bad. You should get something done.
