So much has happened over the weekend.
I'll try to recap, but as it is 1:24AM and I wake up early tomorrow, I'll start with a brief list and will try to fill in tomorrow. (just in case you're actually curious about all this stuff
)

I finished reading the saddest book I've ever read.
It was also one of the most beautiful.
I can't get it out of my mind.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I met one of my favorite artists whom I have never seen before. He gave me a hat and left some art in the street for people to take. I have an original 'De La Vega' in my room right now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I find it hard to forget my roll as band producer when I'm on stage playing. It interferes with my playing and the show in general.
I wasn't happy with my playing at all this last friday, but the band sounded good (under the circumstances- bass player was missing and guitarist had to fill in) and we had good responses.
People actually danced a little!
(Remember- I live in a city where in most venues dancing is illegal.)
ProphetNoise came to visit- it was great meeting him- go to his page and say hi- he's a real nice guy.

2 of my three friends are leaving the country to go back home. They may come back, or not.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wantched the Oscars tonight while organizing my room with all the goodies I got from Ido (AKA- Weedo) - I now have a record player and some 350 albums. He's a DJ so there are some gems in there.
I've never had a record player before.
Except for when I was 4- it was old and grey and my mother would play me kids albums with stories and songs. I liked them a lot
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is turning out to be a real entry after all...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Are you still here? Still reading?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I feel bad for Bill Murray.
He really did seem sad after not winning, and that stupid Billy Crystal had to turn everybody's attention to him when he was about to leave.
I hate it when people don't respect your right to be depressed or angry.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I feel a change coming.
So technically tapping your hand to a song, bopping your head to a song while sitting, or, if they really want to be assholes, i guess they can misconstrew a musician tapping his/her foot to keep time as 'dancing' or some sort of breech of the law. Anyone seen Footloose? lolol
Groove, Arc is a club down in tribeca. Danny Tenaglia spins every friday. They have their fair share of bigger name underground DJ's (yay paradox, lol) they usually dont have a liquor license so it does tend to have its 'fair share' of drugs and younger people because no liquor means . Arc It used to be Vinyl a while back. Unfortunately its closing in april
