The retreat's website is HILARIOUS. I love the photos of the BBQ and the picture of the buffet room, with boxed wine and slab cake. I know that last thing I would want to do before trying to swing would be to gorge myself on shitty food.

After Grand Central I visited my favorite open-air watering-hole. Generously-strong five-dollar Margaritas are unheard of elsewhere in The Slope. Work had been out-of hand lately. In my daze I ordered corn-fried chicken tenders so the Margaritas didnt put me under the table. I like to sit myself closest to the back so I can people watch as patrons and pedestrians come, go, mingle and chat....
