well, hello there, SG land.
it's been a while.
things are on the up and up. currently working a night shift, but i managed (after two years of slogging) to have that switched-yay for seeing daylight hours! i've also started saving up to go back to college ($1000 and counting.), and-on top of all of this-mr. man is at work, so i now have the apartment to myself.
*conspiratorial grin*
it's hard to believe it's been 5 years since i moved to toronto. i did so for the same reason any one moves to The Big City-bright lights, good bars, lots of jobs, arts, culture, and ridiculously good food. i lost old friends, gained new ones. got a bit of ink done. i moved into an apartment with the man, and for a while, things were great.
however, the apartment i'm currently living in has gone to the dogs. much of this has to do with the current property management company. they've gone through three superintendents in 1 (!) year, and have attempted to evict several families from several properties they own in the neighbourhood. we currently have NO superintendent on the premises, and the building is not maintained at all.
so, the time has come to seek greener pastures in this fair city. any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
but now, for an old favourite.
