Ok! Remember in my last entry where i said things were bad, and to always have a positive outlook? Well just after that, I lost my Dad, and I had to go up to Ohio for the funeral and all! But i still kept the faith, and when i got back here to Florida, i put in an application at this trucking company in the town where i live, and they hired me! I am on WiFi now at a truckstop in Ga. I run mostly Florida, to Texas, to Minnesota, and then back to Florida, so i get alot of miles! I get paid by the mile so that is a good thing! Anyway, things are looking up, I am living in the truck, so i have a roof over my head, and am still making a living at the same time! I owe alot of people gratitude for their thoughts when i was going through all of the shit! thanks everyone! Sometimes life is a hard road to travel, and trust me, when i say i have traveled many a mile on that rocky road!!! But if you kick the rocks out of the way as you travel down it, if you ever have to return that way again, it will be much smoother to travel! I had one of my students call me today, that i taught how to drive truck a few years back, at a CDL school! BTW I am the Godfather of him, and his wifes daughter! Anyway, he called to ask me a question about the federal motor carriers regulations , and the new hours of service rules for drivers on the road, and how much time he had to take off before driving again? It felt good to be instructing again, and to have someone ask me questions that i could answer, and help them! I really feel that i will go far with this company, and with the knowlege that i have accumulated over the years in this industry, both in safety, and the regulations involved, the sky is the limit! ok! time to get to bed, I gotta get through Atlanta, Ga. early in the morning if i wanna miss all of the traffic! Sorry i rambled on so much, but i guess i am just excited to be working again, and that things are improving!
