I figured that since I'm telling just about everyone, why not tell my favorite SGs about what I woke up to today.
I get online wicked early because I couldn't sleep...no one else is awake, of course. So I just sit and check people's away messages...
I sort of have masochistic tendencies so of course I checked my ex Meaghan's away message first (she dumped me uhh...sunday before New years..so a week ago). Anyway..it read "Incredibly happy tonight
Me and Jeremiah are back together"
So now a little explanation...me and her hooked up when she was still with him, they were together for a year, but apparently it was a VERY unhealthy relationship and everyone thought she should get out. She hooked up with me, broke up with him the next day. We talked...hung out a couple times (difficult considering there's distance between us) had a great time and ended up dating for about a month...she dumped me because she talked to him and wasn't sure she was over him anymore, wanted to sort it all out. And now I wake up to see that her first night back at school she is back with him.
Needless to say, I'm hurting...whether all this was intentional or not (she apologized and I believe her)
Suggestions on how to move on?

my advice is to forget about her. it was only a month that you two were seeing each other and the way i see it is that you were either a rebound guy or and experiment for her to see what else was out there. shes sounds like a real bitch anyway to dump you around the holidays so i would find someone else and move on.

Listen Dude, nothing heals a broken heart like the touch of a strange woman all you need now is to find a strange woman. On a more serious note, the whole situation sucks, some people can be heartless and have no consideration for anybody else. It sounds like she was confused and didnt take your feelings into consideration. If he is bad for her or the relationship is bad chances are she will run to him, that seems to be the trend. In my experience, it just takes time and space. Dont look at her info online that can only lead to more heartache and live well they say thats the best revenge. If that doesnt work call her sister/ cousin if she has any. Feel better we have all been there and if someone says they have not been there they are probably the problem.
