You win some, you lose some. If people had gotten out to vote in the first place back in 2000 we wouldnt be in this situation. Every vote counts, as you definitely saw in this election. So dont ever think yours didnt.
Simple fact is, fear won this election for Bush. Not ignorance, not intolerance, but straight up F-E-A-R. People who dont live in the metropolitan areas of America are frightened beyond belief of Terrorism and its kin. And The 'publicans routed it out of them. NYC, the ONLY city to be hit by a foreign terrorist plot overwhelmingly voted in favor of Kerry. While the Midwest and Southern counterparts didnt. Go figure.
Just remember...4 years isnt that long. And Cheney is worse than Bush. Guess who'll be the GOP candidate in 2008? So, stay the course and live your lives. The world hasnt come to an end with the 'W' still in office. Things will just be...slightly more retarded than we'd like.

Your the only person thats made me feel a little better about this shit. Thanks. I still think about it on my way to work. I take the train to Penn Station. Your right Fear did decide the election. Maybe if Bin Laden had dropped a bomb in Texas (and "messed with Texas") Kerry would be president.
