So, I've been re-reading my comics and trade paperbacks. I've just picked up the Uncanny X-Men 'Return of the Dark Phoenix' TPB, recounting issues 168 through somewhere in the late 170's. Very cool indeed, simply for the fact that the comic that got me collecting was in that series!

Uncanny X-men #169, from back in MAY of 1983!! I was 11 years old and in in my last month of elementary school, in the 6th grade. Wowzer...I still remembering picking up the comic with my saved up lunch money! That started it all....the facination with comic art, characters, stories...you name it, you can blame it on this issue!
