Sooo...I wake up this morning to find that ALL of the snow has MELTED. That's right. The 1.5 feet of snow that we picked up last weekend is now compeltely GONE. It's 60 degrees F outside right now, apparently. It's also windy as hell, and has been raining. What is super weird is that IT'S SNOWING. Yup...small flakes are falling to the ground. The rain is freezing at higher altitudes and falling down. That means it's getting colder AGAIN. Talk about some weird weather.
On the cold front, I have to admit something. I am a HUGE Winter Olympics fan. I have been since I was a wee little boy. Something about snow sports really gets me going (save for Ice Dancing). I've watched a least a part of the Olympic Coverage in Turin/Torino each and every day since the opening ceremonies. Last night, it was the Snowboard Cross (fucking cool), Team Speed Skating (Italy won), Nordic Combined Team (which had an awesome nail biter ending), and my NEW favorite winter sport....*drum-roll*.... the Skeleton. Going downhill, facefirst on a sled with an inch off of the ice from your chin at 70MPH is just AWESOME. It has taken the place of my lifelong favorite Olympic Winter sport, the Luge. The Funny thing is, I've never EVER seen the Skeleton before...??? I can't understand how I've missed this one for so many years!
Oh...I've watched pretty much ever other event that has been telecast, including Mens'/Womens' Snowboarding, Ice Hockey, Luge, Short Track Skating, Alpine/Jump/Mogul/Cross Country skiiing, and the like. the only event I've missed so far is the Biathalon. Fun stuff, I tell you.

Snowboardcross was easily the best event. So entertaining.
Rollergirls is just full of a lot of stupid girl drama. It's uninteresting the way the SG DVD is.
