Ok, so a friend of mine lost her custody case for her child and I 'm kinda pissed. When the judge made the ruling the reason he gave was that the fathers family had alot more money than she did and that's why he gets to keep the child. He even said that he was sure that my friend would be an excelent mother and she would be able to spend more time with the child than the father,
Now she is trying to appeal, however it costs 1500 dollars to file an appeal in court, she is a single mother who is going to grad school, she doesn't have this money...so I am doing something stupid I am going to give her all the money I have to make sure she can file an appeal.
I can't decide if this makes me a good person or not, why? you ask...because I am doing this so that later in life or even on my deathbed I don't look back and think I could have helped her and I didn't I'm soing this so I don't regret it later in life...I don't know if on appeal she will win I just can't deal with the fact that money is such a limiting factor...
Ok I could type about ten more pages on this and still be pissed off so I'm gonna stop now...

She will be so grateful for your help, I'm sure. That's a fantastic gesture.
timmy:
Win or lose, you're still a good friend for helping her.
