Reactivation? Don't mind if I do.

So, does anyone know who's been going around bringing me free access to pale lovelies and their multi-coloured tattoos?

R-TUG is moving out this month. Glad he paid for December's rent. That helps a bit. Come January, I'm going to be awfully stretched thin so I'll probably be getting a job somewhere up on campus. Hooray. Hip-fucking-hooray. At least we'll have more space downstairs, I suppose. If anyone feels like donating money to the "Feed and House I-Sama" fund, please, let me know.

Die Aussterbende Geliebten

The girl was scarcely through the door
When, up to meet her, rushed the floor,
And footsteps echoed off into the night.
You heard the fall; the downstairs clamour.
An', I swear, I heard you stammer,
"One moment, please. Can't seem to find my shoes."
But soon enough you hurried down --
Fell to your knees -- Fists beat the ground --...

His tear-stained fingers touched fading words
Written in a love now falling slowly away with the march of time
A lonely melody whispers softly from his silenced throat
As the comedic tragedy of their passion
Becomes a fantasy of his ink-stained quill
That others may yearn
That others may love
That others may comprehend

His blood-stained hands touched a chalky throat
Held once in a...

One of my darkest nightmares has been visited upon an innocent and her lover, and in turn upon their friends and family, including my own.

Last night sometime two gunshots were heard by Megan's husband who rushed downstairs only to find her wounded and dying. It has been recounted to me that she is gone from this world, leaving Eric a widower in his twenties....

woo go bitchmond, i mean richmond. i hate the fucking cops here man.....
griffith:
Ah, bit of an update. The perpetrators of this heinous act were apprehended (during the investigation of another armed robbery charge) and they were your typical black thugs...except instead of being 21+...they were 17-16 years old, all four of them. Happily, they're being tried as adults and Kentucky has capital punishment.

Happier still? My family has deep connections within the penal system. They shall suffer, and they shall die. I only wish that could mend the damage that has been wrought.

The library closes at one o'clock.

I did not know this.

I spent one dollar on a printing card. One dollar to charge it.
I printed off the copy of the poem I needed to make a dozen copies of.

"The library is now closed" comes over the loudspeaker.

Me - "Uh, miss? Are all the copiers off?"
Lady - "Yes, it'll take too long...

Looks like the parental type people will be going their seperate ways come October first. ...Guh.
adny:
Hmmm, I guess that could be a good thing if they're happier people for it. Seems like relationships are having a tough go of it anymore. I blame reality TV...
griffith:
Hahah, I blame people that stay spend half of their lives with someone that's such a polar opposite it makes love near impossible for the sake of a couple of children. At least it's amicable, eh?

It would seem that in our progress toward enlightenment, namely in securing the inherent rights of our populace and striving to prevent said rights from being infringed upon, we have cultivated a field in which ideas are both tended to maturity and harvested before they take root. Though we allow ourselves to think freely and explore new ideas while exploring new frontiers in science and...

Hey G,
Do you have National Public Radio in your town? Garrison Keillor has, for many years, done sort of a storytelling program on NPR. It's very folksy, down home and very wholesome & mainstream. He's an elegant speaker, and in this latest he article really sums up how I feel about what's going on in our world right now.

It looks from your journal that you feel the same way. right on.
griffith:
Mm, I'm afraid I'm such a bad little fellow that I haven't partaken much of NPR (namely because I've usually lived too far from town, or in an area non-conducive to radio reception) and I seem to have missed some goodness and yayish things. I'm going to try and remedy this, though ^^

Haven't stopped by to welcome her little freshman self in, no, but I do believe I saw you exiting from Dr. Blackwood's class before my Ethics course began...Or some other short little goth girl...

That was probably me. I have him in the morning for Ethics as well.

The first beat of the divorce waltz has come into motion, and I'm dying a little bit inside. My shining example of two opposites being able to get along in a happy marriage is being shredded apart, and I don't quite like it.

It's going to be a long, cold winter.

-Damn The Imps-

Dance with me in moonlit summertime
Spiraling in ecstasy toward our timely graves
Whilst laughing in the face of death
With hearts strong-beating.
Overcome with me the darkest Peru
Where the Fire Imps dwell, plotting their plots
And whispering their whisps.

Weave a web of woven wonder with a world of wishes
Alliterate all answers and ask anything of me
With assonance...
