Another stolen moment from work to write something on SG. It's hard to belive how involed with this place I've become, I've only been here three months and its become this major part of my life. It's easy say "I'ts only a Web site." But I've been around the Web and seen the kind of people that fill most of it. By and large people spend time online to live some kind of fantasy life. SG is just the opposite, people seem to come here to be themselves, And they're amazingly interesting people too... Ahh well back to work.

I was never and i mean never an online joiner until SG... what was the difference... for me it represented a community of like minded folks despite age and background. Would i join any other one... nope!

Hah! That's funny! Those guys were dicks. The only one I still speak to is Dave Dubiner. I never got into the scooter boy aspect either. The SF scene was alot more fun, but that whole skin/rude boy idiot bullshit drove me away. We've probably met somewhere over the years -I wonder if you were at a show/rally around 1985 in San Diego. I had a band called Wally Danger. I think it was us and the Deadbeats and The Birminghams. It was a big SD event, if I recall correctly. The place was packed.
