Yep, I'm part of the late winter diet posse. I was at 175 lbs and I shot up to 181 after the holidays. I've gotten down to 173.5 as of this morning so I've gotten past my set point. I'm trying to reach 160 which will let me fit my old made to measure shirts which are all very tapered at the waist. I don't mind the lack of fatty food or the reduced carbs, or even the the high fiber everything. That's all just good eating. What I'm craving is this:
The Greyshadow Mid-Century Martini:
3 parts Gin (preferably something aromatic like Bombay Saphire or Beefeater)
1 part dry vermouth (Noilly Pratt is good)
Stir over ice. Do not shake, ice chips are for Slurpees. Strain and serve in a chilled martini glass.
Garnish with an unpitted or almound stuffed olive.
I don't drink these often or very many but knowing that I really can't drink these at all is maddening. To make it worse my wife finally found a place that carrys Anchor Distilling's Junipero Gin, and brought a bottle home. The pain, the pain.
Oh well, I'll have my boyish figure back soon.

that is odd that you are a librarian, as that is one of the occupations I am considering. I am a late bloomer with the school thing so I am just working on my BA right now. I am majoring in woman's studies now, when I am done I can start librarian information sciences.... alternately, if I don't go that route then I will go into art therapy.
