Just found out that they have made a "Solomon Kane" movie. It is now in post. I recently located the screenplay I was working on and was really excited and actually a bit confident about it and now I find this out. I really just want to scream, cry, throw shit. Not necessarily in that order.
FUCK. If you don't do it when you think of it someone else will. Will I ever fucking learn.

this just recently happened to me with a book that i started writing when i was seventeen years old. it took me ten years and 5 drafts to finish it. i wrote a screen play for it, and it was my life in a nut shell... it is now one of the biggest film "phenomena" of the 21st century. i kind of feel like i want to die.
it's almost like some one crawled inside my head, too my story out, butchered it, reproduced it with horribly written marketing rich exploitive angles and threw it out there to be ingested by the masses.
kind of feels like you have been eviscerated on stage.
where to go from here?
