So...
I got a friend request from my high school girlfriend on facebook.
This was kind of a crazy girl who left me with ulcers at 16 years old, because we had such a roller-coaster relationship, and I am not someone who is well suited to that.
This eventually ended in a break up, which ended with her faking a pregnancy and eventually faking a miscarriage (after the fake pregnancy failed to get us back together I guess). She did fess up to that a few months later, though I did spend several months thinking I had basically killed my unborn kid.
The next year she did apologize via proxies, a number of times. I really wasn't ready to forgive at that point, so I didnt.
Now its 20 years later and I get a friend request with no message.
I have no idea what to do about that. I'd be nice to bury the hatchet or whatever I guess. Hindsight being that she was a screwed up kid and she has apologized in the past, and she was my first kiss and girlfriend and, well everything, but on the other hand that was pretty ****ed up.
My temptation is just to hit no, but it feels a little cowardly.
It also would have been nice if she sent me an apologetic email along with the friend request.
I didn't need this today.
