The ecotoxicologist in possesion of my thoughts is in New York for thanksgiving and won't be back until Monday. *sigh* Ah well.
In the meantime I have come to the realization that I am a complete and utter movie consumer whore. Ever since I picked up a DVD player, I've been buying somthing like 4 or 5 DVDs a month. Just today I bought "Run Lola, Run" and a double pack of Spike and Mike's Festival of animation.
I think I'm also at great risk of becoming a bit of a DVD snob. If there's a choice between the normal single disc plain old movie, and the double disc fifteen commentaries from the director and the guy that sprayed plastic foam bits on the set, I'll go for the double disc everytime, regardless of the increase in price.
Although my current prize find is the digitally remastered version of Disney's "The Black Hole" with Ernest Borgnine. I firckin' loved that movie as a kid. Oh yeah, and the 20th (20th mind you!! I feel so old!) anniversary edition of "Tron" kicks more ass than I can comprehend. That movie has held up amazingly well.
I wonder if Katie will watch Tron with me? Woohoo!!!

When I was little, my parents took me to see "The Black Hole" in the drive-thru. But when they were paying for the movie when we got there, I shouted "THE BUTT HOLE!!" really loud and laughed through the whole (hole?) movie because I thought I was so funny.

Am I the only one checking up on you?
