In communist Russia rocket bottles you!!!
These last few nights have been interesting. I discovered an excellent sushi place called sushiland nearby Powells, and have met some interesting folks.
On Tuesday I met a cargo plane pilot. He turned out to be a pretty interesting and cool guy, and I ended up talking with him for around 4 hours about random plane shit and politics. The conversation started out with him talking about how much it sucks to land in Greenland, and pretty much turned into an all out avionics course for me, which I totally dig since I've always wanted to learn how to fly a plane.
On Wednesday I talked to this dude who is starting out some DJ school around here called SPUN. He turned out to be a total BS'er since every time I tried to talk to him about equiptment and DJing he changed the subject or completely generalized the conversation to hide his lack of expertise. Other than that though he wasn't half bad of a guy.
Tonight I went to Club 21, which despite it's lame ass name and 2x lame ass exterior, turned out to be not half bad as far as hangouts go. I'd totally be down for weekly hangouts there over the Clinton St. Pub. Drinky Drinks are a little bit more expensive then the pub, but it's nice to have that full menu and kick ass jukebox.
Also, on the moon nerds get their pants pulled down and are spanked with moonrocks. Remember that.
