I am currently in the middle of bullshiting my way through yet another English paper. I got a good grade on my last one however, so I suppose at least it's convincing bullshit.

This time I have to explore the similarities between "Capturing the Friedmans" and "Tarnation" which hasn't been too difficult a task even though I've only gotten a chance to check out "Tarnation" as of yet.

After a bit of Googling, I found out just about everything I needed to know about "Capturing the Friedmans" and will thus be able to avoid the rental fees. The two films are pretty damn similar, on paper at least, so I'm not having any problems pulling quite a few pages out of thin air.

I have to tell you though, I didn't enjoy watching "Tarnation" at all. This isn't on account of the film itself being bad, but just out of the pure disgust I felt while watching how horrible this man and his mother's lives have been. I don't think I've ever seen a movie that was so emotionally taxing to me on this particular level. I don't know if there is anybody else out there that was scared shitless when they watched "The Ring" for the first time, but I have to equate my feelings from that experience to this one. It's like I've spent my $7 bucks and while all I want to do is run out of the theater and never watch it again, I have to sit it through it all and endure this mental distress or else I'll lose out on my dough, except in this case it's the A I don't want to lose as opposed to the 7 dollars.

I think I'm going to use this last paragraph I wrote in my paper even though it's a bit off topic and I can't really add a convincing counter-experience from the other film to build off. I suppose I'll just add a little thingy at the top to say that I felt stronger emotional ties to "Tarnation" so as to justify a quarter of a page of filler.

This journal entry is starting to ramble on a bit, but it's kind of nice to type out some real feelings for a bit after my last couple hours of faking shit. Well, back to work I suppose.

P.S. If you are ever in the need to make your self look sophisticated and sexy, take some advice from my old buddies Bobby and Joe.
