I got back from Phoenix on Sunday. It was kinda nice to get away from the cold for awhile and have a bit of fun. I spent the large portion of each day riding around on a bike and getting in some sun. It was nice getting to see my folks again, as I haven't really gotten to see them much since I moved.
I finally got myself an ipod the other day, and I have to say it's a pretty sweet little device. I put every cd I own on it and I still have 51 gig's of space left, and as a bonus the damn thing runs for 20 hours straight between recharges.
I am finally a complete nerd now that I have finished my Star Trek: The Next Generation box set collection. Those things are way too expensive ($90-$130 a piece) but well worth it in the long run. Now I have to contemplate whether or not to start in on collecting DS9 box sets now. Oh how I hate being a huge whale penis and the expense that entails upon me.
Seeing as how I don't have classes tomorrow I think that I'm going to head out for a couple of cold ones. I hope I start meeting some people out here soon as it gets pretty boring hanging out by myself all the time. I'm sure things will work out fine for me with time, it's just these first few months are hard for me because I'm not a particularly outgoing person and I rely mostly on other people approaching me as I means to start up a friendship. I think that if I pop my head in the same couple of places often enough that I will eventually find people that I like to hang out with and then everything will be peachy keen though.
