Just another day in Flint!

I see a guy got shot in his car about two miles from my house during the day... I'll be cynical and say it's likely from a drug deal or gang issue as it usually is. Too many folks in this town with nothing to do (like work) and way too many guns.

The Flint Journal is running a weekly article in Sundays about the vanishing middle class due to the loss of all the factory jobs. I used to be part of the middle class when I worked at mental health... The thing was that the local auto worker earned much more than me and I have a Masters degree and licensure! lol I know some relatives who retired from GM and were getting more in pension that I was working full time as a therapist...

But I doubt they'd write about a guy like me! lol
