Still no luck on the job front and its really weighing on my mind. That combined with other upcoming stresses makes it almost too much to bear.
I'm pretty down emotionally but my friends have really worked overtime being my support system. Without them I prolly would have just ended it all long ago. My eternal thanks for all the love.
I was going through some papers this morning and I came across this song that I started the day I left Wisconsin. I finished it while sitting in a gas station in Reno. I thought I had lost it...but alas here it is.
THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED
You can drive on forever
And still never make it home
Spend my days out on the highway
Heading to the great unknown
Every day is a new town
Another gem to find
Livin on stale beer and memories
Of those you left behind
Everything I own in the world
Is now in my chevy truck
Just pray the good lord sends me
Just a lil bit of luck
You can drive on forever
Still never make it home
Spending days on the highway
Heading to the great unknown
Through my weary eyes up ahead
I can make out the state line
Just a few more hours
To the end of line
Driving on to California
its where I thought that I belong
But I can't help but wonder
If Wisconsin was home all along
You can drive on forever
And when the trip is done
One journey has ended
And another has begun
