and finally all is done for the next few weeks and pug has no work to do till then...well i did pretty good on my soc. and latin american finals i think but my canadian politics one, er not so much. it's too bad, 'cause i was doing pretty well in that class and learning alot of stuff but kind of got screwed up mid somester and the stoopid essay took way more time and energy then it maybe should have...oh well, it's not like i'm going to fail the class or anything. i think overall i did better this somestester then the last one-this stuff takes practice.
last night sure was weird with that whole power out fiasco..i have to admit i was pretty fascinated by the whole thing (maybe because i've been studying sociology for the past 3 months?), i observed much of the metropolitan exodus on all the news channels- it seemed pretty surreal from where i was sitting, kind of makes me wonder how i'd react in that situation. if i was already at home or at least at a friend's it wouldn't be too bad at all, but i felt for all those people stranded on the opposite sides of the city as thier houses- those people that were directing the traffic were pretty great, that could have been chaos...
well during the lst few weeks me and jae kind of lost track of budgeting and stuff and didn't account foer a couple of expenses- alas, it looks like tofino is no more yeah, i know, it sucks! i was looking pretty forward to it and all- but you know, i am really really happy to be on a vacation no matter what, i mean, this city can be pretty great when you have nothing you have to do. i have a little dough. so instead of tofino beaches i have vancouver beaches, bike rides in the park and going to see movies i didn't get around to seeing while i was in school.
i'm still going to victoria though-that's just a ferry boat away. i'm meeting my sis on the corner tomorrow morning and we're going over together, which is cool!
i actually ran into her the other day on the bustling sidewalk as me and a friend were on our way to write our latin america final- it was so awesome to just be running into her in the neighborhood now. it'll be really great to see my ma, she hurt her knee the other week though which totally sucks-i don't like it when bad things happen to my ma! she sounds in good spirits, though, and she at least went out and got herself pampered-pedicure, manicure- so i am glad she is treating herself well.
i've had an up and down week which is kind of typical but mostly i am quite happy to have lots of time to spend daydreaming and playing music and all kinds of things, even if just for a little while! bye bye friendly-type folks

i hope all is well.
that power outage thing was scary. i didn't realize how important it was for me to have power. i began reading "the fellowship of the rings" and wrote some new stuff on acoustic, but other then that i sort of just wasted away. it's nice to know i was at least thought about! thanks pug.
