weeell...poor again, didn't take long but hey, at least my phone service won't get cut off now.
back to my usual brand of low - cost, simple minded fun; watching the cats for inspiration as they run around the apartment chasing the rainbows that are streaming through the suncatcher...
er....? my weekend?? i went to a protest on friday downtown, "stop the war on the poor" , marching through the streets of the downtown core, messing up traffic people in their cars, talking on cell phones and yelling at us to like, i don't know get jobs or something. it was a general strike so there were all kinds of people there speaking out about all the ways the provincial liberals have been royally screwing the vast majority of b.c... it was alot of fun really, if you want to know, and i saw this girl there
with this torn up shirt on with the burning american flag on the back and the word "murder" sprawled across it and black ripped jeans, dark hair, lots of piercings and walking this awesome german shepard; most of her face was covered with a bandana but boy she was a cute little anarchist...so hardcore...
didn't see myself on the news though.
other then that it's the same shit as usual with the studying and all...the strike was a good vacation from the canadian politics and reading all about political cleavages which, believe me, are not as sexy as they sound. i miss democratic socialism 2260...allright enough about that i promise one of these days i WILL in fact get a life and have something a little more exciting to write about...
