Well I took my final today, but I don't think I did too well. I should still pass the class though, so it's all good.

Afterward I get a call from that friend of mine, whom I'm currently trying to help get out of a bad situation.

Turns out it's her birthday today (I was not informed by aNYONE about this) and she's been doing nothing but sitting at the place she's staying at, looking for work.

Well I go over to make what little birthday magic I can in the 2 hours I have left before I have to leave for work.

By the time I get there though, she set up to go to a shooting range up the street from her pad and fill out an application. So I drive her up there (about a five minute drive) and after she turns in her application she gets hired! It's only weekend work, but it's a start in the right direction for her...
..but she's going to need transportation to get there.

She could ride a bike, but she has a bad knee from a softball injury, so now I'm looking in a bunch of auto-traders to try and find some motor scooter to get her for her birthday.

It's a big gift to give, I know, but it'll help out a lot more people once she has it. She could try to find a weekday job and will have more options with transportation, and finally start paying the rent at the place she's at right now (another friend's house), save a little, and finally find a place of her own.

So hopefully it'll all work out.

As for me, I gotta follow up on some of these scooters tomorrow, and finally get my grandma's computer working.
