I can't hardly believe that Hell City is already this weekend, that's crazy talk! I'm not sure where the time has gone (I know where a lot of it went!) The photo of the skull is just the next stage - more like new stage for my back piece. Working on two large skulls, one similar on other side, which will be color, greenish-yellowy-purplelike real aged-looking bone when completed. All you see done now is just shade lines and its already looking pretty okay and taking shape I think if you ask me (I could give a shit less if you are or aren't asking either!) I think I have a great artist doing these skulls, who happens to especially like skullwork too (I think I just made a word up..). The artist's name is Eric Skramstad (I hope I spelled that right if you ever see this Eric!) with Divinity Tattoo here in the Scottsdale/Phoenix Arizona area (also at fatzombie.com).
Now the only problem is ME getting in to the shop so Eric can continue the work!! I just got back in AZ and plan to make some time in between everything, of course, I'm not so good at being able to plan 5, 6 or 8 weeks in advance to get some of his time!! Which just adds to the fun! Eric's actually been very good to work with. Well , thats enough for now, since I am just trying to get back into some habit of regular journals, etc. and probably the only one reading this! See you this weekend at Hell City in Scottsdale Arizona!!
