Two Minute Drill
I hear a phrase, a word, a line
Inside this silly head of mine
And it wants out, but it wants more-
And so one line is changed to four.
And four is fine, but they have tricks
And now they've made me go to six.
I'd rather not participate
But I can't stop, and now they're eight.
While eight is fine for lesser men
The greedy lines now number ten.
I've had enough, now let me be
I'm skipping to infinity.
