- Work is better. My five-front war has become a one-front war. Now granted, it's a war with an 800-pound gorilla and his Grizzly Bear friends, but this I can manage. If I get to focus on one thing, even if it's a monster, that is dealable. Trying to keep four medium-sized things and one giant one straight in my head? Sadly, no. So, forward, younglings, to battle, and enjoy. I have your back, as time allows.
- Fang had his last chemo treatment today. Things don't look bad. We start a drug called Palladia in two weeks to try to keep things going well. I'd say this to anyone in similar circumstances: if your furry kid is not completely miserable to start with, chemo is worth a shot. Compared to where he was before we started, Fang is distinctly better off, and in absolute terms, he's doing excellently for a 17 year old cat, and not at all bad for one that would be only 10. So, if you have a tough choice like this to make... don't just dismiss the option out of hand. There is hope.
- I continue to enjoy being a bit annoying, at times. Socratic harrassment, FTW.
- Do you know who Joan Collins is? No, don't bother. Although with Google, it's not much of a bother. Anyhow, she has pronounced the opinion that actresses today just aren't, generally, as beautiful as the glory days. I disagree, and think the level of beauty is pretty much constant. Now, what will interest me, is if in 30 or 40 years, any of them are as interesting as Katherine Hepburn was, or Lauren Bacall is, in their later years.
- I have developed some interesting coping mechanisms lately. We'll have to see if they continue to work. I think you could boil my blood down for caffiene and get a decent yield for your efforts.
- I discovered Monk and pretty much instantly got a crush on Bitty Schram.
- I am stuck on a song! I found myself singing the Ramone's I Wanna Be Sedated asI Wanna Be Cremated... and I am SO stuck trying to build a whole parody around that one line. This is why I have been quiet this week. 0 progress, beyond that one line. I may have to give up... but...but... it just wants out!
- Drop by. Say something! Who knows what outrageous and Oscar Wildean bon mots may ensue?
Grayness wants something. He's not quite sure what, though. Or if he is, he's not telling.

_holden_:
They didn't mention that, but that sounds like something that could be a possibility. I'll mention it to the vet tomorrow. I take probiotics daily and it's made a big difference for me. Thanks for the suggestion.
