grayness

I feel like I have mud for brains
And rocks and poodles in my veins
(Not bright and bouncy but lying still
Growling growls, with looks that kill)
I think perhaps my first mistake
Was to let myself awake.
In short it could be simply said:
I'd rather just go back to bed.
