Oh, Sir Heracles Ponce is our villain
He's ruthless, and cunning, and cold
And nine tenths of the crimes he's committed
Can only be whispered when told-
For he hires a stable of lawyers
Who pursue litigation at will
And if you make rash accusations
You'll soon have no cash in the till.
It's funny how both of his parents
Perished when he was just nine
It's said that they wanted a baby.
(He thought one child was just fine.)
Accidents seem to surround him
For people with no further use,
But I'm sure that this has no meaning-
To suggest otherwise is obtuse.
To deal with his various problems
That don't run to legal recourse
He has a small army of cutthroats
Who won't question before using force
It's fortunate these men lack lawyers
So now I can say just what I will-
The worst of them is a bland, fat man
Whose known to us all as just "Bill".
Bill has a frightening power-
He deals with keeping history pure
He doesn't like folks who slander his boss,
And sling around verbal manure.
His specialty's troublesome poets
Who compose stanzas lib'lous or worse
And he has this one strange thing that he does
He can make them write prose and not verse...
