Once when I was young my dad cleaned out the fish tank with bleach. All the fish died. It was very sad, but that was in 1989. I had gotten over it.

Then about 2 years ago, I went to a friends place and he's from Poland and the parents don't speak the english too good. Anyway the dad had all these fishtanks and insisted on showing me the all the fish. I decided I'd share the funny story about the aquarium genocide of '89. The dad wasn't impressed. He yelled at me in a heavy accent 'You never use bleach!!! Use vinegar!! You must use vinegar!! You kill all the fish!!' I tried explaining to him that it was about 15 years ago, but he wouldn't listen 'No use bleach.. It'll kill the fish!!!' Then he muttered something, presumably in polish, and stormed off.

My page shows art in sted of ads so I've never seen it but that does sound kind of gross. artchick does the art for the site. I only get to talk to her once a millennia but every time I do it's pleasant.
