Kid's are awesome for their naivety. I want you to imagine when you were a little kid... go ahead take a moment or two and think way back to when you had pimples and an awkward demeanor.

...

... ok got it?

... Don't be ashamed it's just us.

... so the memories are flooding back. Remember all of the awkward things you used to do? Things that wouldn't pass these days because we've all become so self conscious.

I remember going to the park and running into random kids and playing army. I remember this one time while riding the ski lift, there was a kid that I had just met, we were singing Green Day's "When I Come Around" at the top of our lungs to all of the people below. I remember being dumped for the first time and thinking that my life was over. On that same note do you remember whenever you messed up "YOU WERE DEAD!!!" I mean really it was all over for you because you would literally die.

Kids interacting with one another is fascinating. They speak a foreign language that only other children can grasp. I had this great Shakespearian Literature professor in college. He said something that I'll never forget. We were reading Romeo and Julliette and while reviewing a student raised his hand and asked dubiously, "Do you really think that it's possible for such young children (12 and 13 year olds) to feel such complex emotions?"

My professor replied, "You know it really puts me off when someone asks that. I believe that when you are young it's the only time that you can feel true love because it's completely unbridled. It's lacking the self-consciousness that tends to ruin all relationships."

Oh wait, I've got to go, my favorite cartoon just came on.

Your professors comment is very intriguing. Likely very true.

Just doing some journal hopping.
