Have you ever tried to be away from the internet for more than a day? Seriously, not as easy as you'd think. Lately, I've come to realize something about addiction. Stick with me long enough and you'll realize that I realize a lot of things.

So about addiction. Ron Livingston has a great monologue in the movie swingers, "Sometimes it still hurts. You know how...

Kid's are awesome for their naivety. I want you to imagine when you were a little kid... go ahead take a moment or two and think way back to when you had pimples and an awkward demeanor.

...

... ok got it?

... Don't be ashamed it's just us.

... so the memories are flooding back. Remember all of the awkward things you used to...

It really only takes two things to be a good artist:
1. Realize that you, like everyone else on the planet, has a very special/important message to share
2. Be so terrible at verbalizing that message that you have to find another medium to do so.

The secret to being a great artist also comes in a bite sized two package:
1. Actually have something...

Not all hippies are stinky blush

I think one of the best smells in the world is stinky sweat.

Stinky sweat almost made my list but was bumped off because I like warm rotting trash only slightly better.

The mundane. What is there to say about it. I'm jealous of those who have a new adventure everyday. I'd like to think that I've been successful at having an adventure every other day out of the week. The subtleties of life definitely keep it interesting. I had this idea that I tried out for a while. I would do something I had never done before at least once a week. It was a lot of fun for a while, but after a while, it became too expected, so I had to mix it up a little. Good luck finding your balance kiss
gravitation:
I've tried to do that. I attended an anime convention and a rave. Both were pretty wild experiences. I was hoping to go to the annual indexing conference held in Denver but missed it.

James Jean is a god. I'm not saying a god in the sense that he shoots lightning bolts from his finger tips. I'm talking about how with an ever so delicate motion of the wrist he creates delicious worlds. His art makes me want to shed my physical bonds and simply jump right in. I want to play.

Don't know what I mean? Please allow...

That really is some incredible stuff. I'm going to have to look up more work by him. That would make a truly unique tattoo. I bet it would look good on you. smile

Please do!! I'm visiting nyc soon I'm thinking I'll find an artist there that can pull it off.

I batted around with the idea of posting a blog. I'm new to this community and I was wondering - with all of the beauty around can I really say something that's meaningful and interesting? The me right now thinks, "fuck it, just speak".

I am the modern day Larry David incarnate. Bumbling, charismatic at times, charming even but with a single fatal flaw. You...
