Looks like I might be selling guitars.
Okay, so it's retail but atleast I'm working with a product that I'm into and it's a job. Rather ominious, I had a job interview up in Lexington the same day I have a movie production as well. To save the trouble of having to go to Richmond and back, I decided to do some window shopping in the area. I came up to a Willis Music and they had a "now hiring" sign. Just so happens I had a few extra copies of my resume, so I brought one in and filled out an application.
The manager was rather impressed with my background despite the lack of sales expereince but my music background and knowledge of recording equipment more than made up for it.
I asked around in the Suicide Guitars group as well as with friends who work in the biz for what to expect. Very helpful advice cause you sort of have to bullshit and not bullshit at the same time. The store has some really good brands which should help me out there.
