I'm sorry that 5 years of friendship means shit to you.
I'm sorry that you will take your girlfriends words over your own.
I'm sorry that she owns you, and operates every aspect of your life just because you 'moved in together'.
I'm sorry that you've forgotten how to make your own decisions, and maintain your own seperate relationships with other people.
I'm sorry that she doesn't trust you enough to let you talk to any of your female friends from outside her circle.
I'm sorry she controls you.
I'm sorry that this is the second girl to do this to you.
I'm sorry that you didn't learn the first time.
I'm sorry she wasn't aware of the fact that I'd probably be more interested in her than you, and that I am in a relationship with someone who makes me smile without sacrificing my indepenence.
If she knew what I knew, she'd know to trust you.
If she knew what I knew, she'd treat you the way you deserve to be treated.
If she knew what I knew, she'd know that you would never deceive her.
If she knew what I knew, she'd know that you don't deserve this.
I wasn't asking for every night of your life. I didn't think once a month/every two months was too much of your time to ask for. I never see you at shows because she doesn't want you to go or she can't go, you didn't even go to one of your best friends birthday parties because she wouldn't let you. The people who cared noticed you wheren't there. You know....the people who give you hugs everytime they see you, the ones who offer to bring you soup everytime you're sick, the ones who can't stop thinking about you when they know you're bleeding again, the ones who scrap thier afternoon engagements to sit around and watch Beavis and Butthead instead... yeah those people, they still exist in this world, somewhere in those closets you've pushed them away into.
And the little girl learns her lesson...
