ah yes. work has yet again foiled one plan, while subsequently providing me with another different, yet equally desirable alternative.

Because of the weekend heavy schedule, I will NOT be going out to my beloved desert on Friday morning to ride dirtbikes with the family and friends.

I will be going out with my girls to long beach. either ripples or executive suites...unless they get really enthusiastic and we hit girl birl instead. the latter would require we have enough money to procure a cab as I will be drinking should we go out.

After I get off work on Saturday, I will be heading directly to the desert... dale evans parkway to be exact to join family and friends and hopefully get there in time for a twilight ride and dinner followed by a night around the campfire with wine and good friends.

An early rise to get a good morning ride in and then I'm back on the freeway to get to work on time Sunday at noon.

So yes. I won't be going out WITH the family, but I will get some time alone, some time with the girls, some time on the bike in the desert and some time with the family....

I will likely sleep well on Sunday night.
