today was a lazy-feeling day. i slept late, did a few chores (dishes/clothes), played a little silent hill 3 (even though i've already beaten it), had a short visit w/ my bro & his wife, & other than that, i just sat around watching tv or doing crosswords while smoking clove cigarettes. i even checked my computer for new messages on myspace, but i didn't have much to reply to.
last night was another story. katana was w/ my dad & we dropped kagome off w/ trey's mom; after smoking a blunt, we headed out for a night on the town. by we, i mean, of course, gabriel & myself. we tried to decide among bowling, eating dinner, or going to a bar. since we've both quit drinking, i eliminated the bar from the choices...actually, it kindof rules out bowling, too, since bowling is most fun after a couple strawberry daquiris. but anywho, we decided to eat out & were thinking of trying someplace new to us. we finally went to Hokkaido on 15th street, but after remembering that i don't like japanese food all that much & looking at the prices on the menu, we decided to leave...not to mention the room was too cold. we ended up at ryan's steakhouse. i hadn't been there in a while, but i used to eat there all the time. gabe had never been there! we arrived 30 minutes before closing time, but made the most of it. i had 4 different plates full of food & ate a lot of it! it was great. gabe stuck mostly to the steaks, they were great after all. Jeez, when did this turn into a freaking saga. Oh well, we picked up the baby & pit-stopped by WM & used a credit card to buy family guy for ps2, WOW for the pc, a dress for katana, a blanket, some soft blocks, & a toy set for kagome. kagome stole a teddy bear, too. hehe...learning young.
tomorrow is monday & i don't have a lot of plans. the water bill gets mailed, i need to call about some insurance, & i might end up driving gabriel around some to look for a new job (even though we plan to move, we need money all the time, especially now!)
no sign of our federal check yet. that is making gabe totally nervous...i'm only slightly nervous. hehe.
back to the subject of moving, please continue to email me with any prospects that anyone has about bypassing credit checks & finding jobs in or around the beach (take your pick) or new orleans. thanks so much. we feel like we are on the verge of making some of our dreams come true. it would mean SO much to me to move to the beach or at least somewhere i can fit in & be a happy gothpie (gothic hippie). and don't forget we have 2 little girls & want 2 more kids at some point, so it can't be in a bad neighborhood.
LOVE you guys!
