Eh, roadkill isn't something you see everyday, I think it's beautiful in it's own special way. Aside from that though, I like blood & guts, and the thought that not one minute/hour/day before, that animal was romping around, breathing & whatnot. Just because you live in a city doesn't mean that that kind of thing happens all the time, it would be nice if it did and I'm sure for some people it does but they are in the minority.
As to the people taking time out I think it's easy to get engrossed in SG and get into a booblies mindset which is kinda freaks out people who don't know you. On the whole you judge yourself by your peers and if you are thinking different things to them all the time then a void opens and things get a little off key. By peers in this case I don't mean SG but the people you interact with every day, the girl in the supermarket. Modern culture is wierd.
