well, i had a god birthday. and thanks to all the people who said happy b-day to me . i went out dancing with my friend mel, who's birthday was also the 11th may. all the good people are born on the 11th. doesn't matter what month, as long as it's the 11th. both me, mel, my daughter, one of my old clients (he's a good old boy), hologram, where born on an 11th of a month.
but there is bad news for me, my car's head gasket has gone and i can't afford to fix it (450-500 quote). and that's if i haven't cracked a cylinder head or something worse. and i can't afford to buy a new car. this means that i am now out of a job as i need my car to get to my clients homes. so poo it. i need to find a new job, PRONTO.
and then there's my money. i'm 150 overdrawn on my 800 overdraft . plus i've nearly used up my 2nd credit card double . so i'm practical bankrupt at the moment. but oh well, all the money i owe is to barcleys (both my credit cards are barcley names, and my loan is with barcleys, so is my account) and i think barcleys can 11 grand not being paid back to them.
but don't worry folks, i'm still happy as it doesn't bother me much really. being a carer, i have seen how life could be much worse than having money problems. as long as i have my health, i'm going to be happy .
on that account, i have some words for you:
The value of a sister:
Ask someone who doesn't have one.
The value of ten years:
Ask a newly divorced couple.
The value of four years:
Ask a graduate.
The value of one year:
Ask a student who has failed a final exam.
The value of nine months:
Ask a mother who gave birth to a still born.
The value of one month:
Ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby.
The value of one week:
Ask an editor of a newspaper.
The value of one hour:
Ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
The value of one minute:
Ask a person who has missed the train, plane or bus.
The value of one second:
Ask a person who has survived an accident.
The value of one millisecond:
Ask the person who has won a silver medal in the olympics.
To realise the value of a friend:
Lose one.
Time waits for no one. Treasure every moment you have.
peace, love and health to you all .

It's about 15 minutes from me... (10 minutes from where I'm sitting at the moment).
