So I'm all moved in to the city. Car less (well technically I own a car, but keeping at the folks so I don't have to pay for gas or parking), and really am loving it. Never thought I would. I grew up a country boy in Central Illinois. I've been up around the Chicagoland area for a little over 3 years now and finally settling in.
Had more downs than ups lately and recently lost one of my two close friends up here to suicide. But he's moved on to his next life now and hopefully it's better than the one he was given in the life I knew.
Looking to get some new artwork done also and can't wait. Also bike shopping again for a newer Ducati. So much going on and I feel like so little time to get it all in lol.
The weather here in the Chi has been crazy lately, but that's to be expected, I am in Chicago. It can be 90F one week and 38F the next, as it just recently was.
Anyways, hopefully I get out soon to meet some of you fellow SG'ers and may the good times roll!

@ Swayze, I didn't think I would ever be able to accomplish it but between public transportation and having all the necessities w/in about a 5 to 10 block radius, I'm getting quite comfortable.
Commute to work is a 3 block walk to the station, 10 minute ride on the train, and the stop I get off at drops me off right in front of the prison where I work. Couldn't ask for a better commute.
