Went and cashed in all the change today... Even my daughter contributed voluntarily. My SG account charged me last second without a warning email. I didn't have money for it, and I don't get paid til next Friday.
So we went through another roommate. My best friend without a GED. He came up with a good excuse to move back in with mommy. Coward. I suppose it was a blessing in disguise, so I didn't have to tell him to Get the Fuck out of my House! But still....
He left some nerd gamer dice for my daughter... and a whole lot of bills for me. During the month+ that he was here I didn't even see 1 penny from him to contribute. As I was pulling my hair out stressing over bills!
Now on top of catching up with bills I have to find day care (the one thing he did help with) *sigh*
I'll be ok though.
My mom asked me the other day, "So how is everything?"
"It's a constant battle, daily, with no hope of letting up," I responded. "But I wouldn't expect any less. When one has high goals and aspirations, the road is bound to be rocky with tons of sweaty battles..."
and I believe that.
So I just try to find new ways to
take me to my happy place, where I can be calm and collected...
Although... sometimes that ends up looking like...

I had an old roommate leave things behind. I told him, and apparently, after a month, it became mine.
