Well, spent the weekend with my mom and little brother in Laughlin. Its right on the Arizona-Neveda border in the Mojave Desert. It was hotter than any human should ever have to deal with; 125 to be exact.
We went out on a boat Saturday for most of the day. Since I don't tan, I just burn to a nice golden red, I stayed out of the sun most of the day. The wind alone blowing in my face while the boat was at full speed dried me out and beat-up my face. It was one of the days when you realize why you live where you do.
Worked out well though, won $20 bucks playing Blackjack. Decent weekend all-in-all.
Just watched "Virgin Suicides" for the first time. I won't pretend I completely understand what I just saw but I know it was good. I need to watch some more but it was simply a great, great movie.
