yesterday, roughly 1/3 of my friends posted new blogs. so, because i'm late on following trends, i'm posting a new one today.
so, um, points of interest in my life right now:
* i got a D on my first spanish test. it officially marks the lowest grade i've received in school in 9 years. i am a winner. and daily stressed out by the class more than i care to acknowledge.
* in related school news, i think i can ace my Dead Sea Scrolls class because for my final paper i can posit a theory about the sect that wrote the scrolls that hasn't ever been posited before. and considering the wealth of reading that i'm doing for the course and that my professor is one of the most prominent scholars on the DSS's in the world, i'm pretty sure it's a unique theory. so that's kinda rad.
* these two classes only reinforce this argument: you win some, you lose some
* this morning i ran a mile in 8:40. booyah.
* still don't have a job. on a scale of 1 to 5 on how critical this situation is, i think i'm somewhere around AAAAHHHH!!! HOLY FUCK!!! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!. this is because i currently have -$125 to my name. yes, that's right. that's a minus sign. i'm burning into my tuition money so as to not starve. doesn't get much shittier than this.
* for those of you that read my stories on my myspace blog, it might be a while before i get to writing another one. i had some rad ideas for the new book i started writing a few months ago, so i wanna work them into the chapters. plus, once i get the first three chapters finished and outline the remaining chapters (which is already done to a remedial degree), i can submit it to agents for publishing. so, yeah.
* i watched MirrorMask again last night. that movie is still the bomb. "No! I don't wanna be a waiter!"
* still single. at this point, i think i plan on being this way forever
* going to a friend's wedding on saturday. it's a girl i've known for about 12 years. i realized the other day that she's known her husband for like 6 or 7 years and i've never met him. which means that's probably about how long it's been since i've seen her. so it'll be nice to see her again, even if 100 other people are clammoring for her attention. fuck them. i'll kill them.
k, i've wasted enough time on here. off to spanish homework. OLE!
