It has been a long while since a good harsh rant that I think it is beyond due...so.,,,
What is it about the people around me in my apartment and my roomates that makes them such wasteful human beings? Oh yes that's right! There is no financial incentive for them to do so. They don't have to pay for the lights being on and the tv and well everything else in the house all at once, so why not just keep them a burning 24/7? The moral obligations of reducing, reusing and all that other jazz goes out the window, untill you get something for it. Imagine if all our morals we based on a reward system? IN some ways it is! I'm sure everyone has someone they would want to kill or rob, just as long as they can get away with it. How wonderful, how much we've evolved from those vicious chimps that we share so much in common with.
So come and join me and the sluts that I live with in turning on the faucets with hot water until it floods my apartment, or let's draw the shades and turn on lights when the sun is blazing. Come on it'll be fun, we're not paying for it with those meaningless green pieces of paper that people run around with.
If we run out of water we'll buy more from other countries, and when we run out as a planet, let's just hope in our Cadiallac Escalade brand spaceship (seats 3 mice and gets 2 millimeters per ton of jet fuel) and go raid other planets of their oil and coal and what not.
Life is a game of collecting as many plastic toys and do dads and locking them in a vault with you (AKA a "house") and then guarding it with your life so no other advanced sack of stinking carbon can get their dirty mitts on them. There is no higher meaning and love is just a dream.
My utopia contains images of peace, running water and life in balance, without a honk of a horn or a human being in sight. Our footprints will fade away, as buildings rot, the pages of our great works crumble and our history becomes another mystery.
Any hoo time to run, this is becoming nonsense.
